2004 Athens games.The co-main event will feature a light heavyweight bout between former
UFC champion Rashad Evans and Strikeforce Heavyweight GP winner Daniel
Cormier. This will mark Cormier’s first fight as a light heavyweight
after competing exclusively as a heavyweight in his young MMA career.The preliminary fights will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET and will air via the
UFC Fight Pass subscription service. The preliminary fights will
transition over to FOX Sports 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET, with the UFC PPV main

former Strikeforce heavyweight champion (13-0) Daniel Cormier. In his
first fight at 205-pounds, “DC” takes on (4-0) Patrick Cummins, an
ex-trainer partner who – even on short notice – got the opportunity of
his life following Rashad Evans’ knee injury.

The mixed martial arts (MMA) march to promote the UFC 170: “Rousey vs. McMann” pay-per-view (PPV) event ends today (Saturday, Feb 22 ) with the final pre-fight press conference before the highly-anticipated championship battle between two Olympic medalists.Ousey
became the first American (female) judoka to medal in the Olympics,
capturing the bronze for Team USA in Beijing. Four years earlier (Athens

The UFC women’s bantamweight title is on the line for the second time in under two months as Ronda Rousey defends her belt against Sara McMann in the main event of UFC 170. Bloody Elbow will have live results for the entire event which begins with a pair of prelim fights on Fight Pass (aprox 7 p.m. ET) and then a two-hour FX prelim broadcast (8 p.m. ET) before the main card kicks off on PPV (10 p.m. ET).
